WORK, PLAY, LIVE

One of the current issues of future modern housing is the lack of living in a house. Living comprises of mainly work, play and being in a community. Thus the scheme, Work, Play, Live helps to resolve the issue of the lack of living in a house. Today’s housing only provides a place for people to staying in, a night to rest in before they wake up in the morning and leave their house to go to a completely different location, carrying out their work. In other cases, leave their house to find an area for leisure or to be in a community.

Work, Play, Live is a scheme that combines all the senses of working, playing and community in one location. This combination is achieved through the allocation of different programs spaces and voids that expose the programs to the public, creating a more visually connected community.

The two form moves away from each other to optimize views.

Space is dedicated inbetween the to forms to create a sharing comunity area.

Lift shaft penetrates the communal area. Creating a starting point from within the community space.

Voids are added in the community space to create visual connectivity

Subtraction of the community space is added to enhance visual connectivity

Visually connective community space is created to break down barriers.
